Activities

To help you make the most of your visit, the Innkeepers will do everything from packing picnic lunches for a day of beach combing or fishing to arranging canoeing, biking, and snowshoeing. Golf packages are also available.

Swimming

Nestled in a secluded cove of Shemogue Harbour, you can use the canoe to find isolated sand bars or use the bicycles for nearby beaches for sunbathing or swimming in the warm waters of the Northumberland Strait.

Enjoy Atlantic sea water year ’round in our Salt Water (right from the bay!) Hot Tub!

Birdwatching

The area offers outstanding birdwatching opportunities for everything from shorebirds to songbirds. Nearby Port Elgin, Baie Verte and the award-winning Sackville Waterfowl Park are excellent sites for viewing rare marshland species. The coastal area from Shédiac to Cape Jourimain is a prime migration route for a variety of waterfowl and the Amherst Point Bird Sanctuary hosts breeding Osprey and Willets.
